Summary: Sharlin turned Entrepreneur in 2017 when he co-founded a Tech start-up in the Industrial IoT and Cloud Technologies space along with an ex-colleague. In 2018, he partnered Carnegie Technologies USA to build a new SAAS platform  elivering white-labeled SDK solutions for consumer companies and mid-sized Telcos to help them accelerate their digital transformation. He now also oversees BizDev in the MEA and APAC regions for the Company.
Prior to 2017, he spent about 4 years at Microsoft as Consumer & OEM Business Lead and member of the India Leadership Team. Before Microsoft, he spent over 13 years with Bharti Airtel Limited. His last stint was as Hub CEO for the South-Central Hub, where he owned P&L and Balance Sheet responsibility for the Consumer, Enterprise and Government Business covering all business lines, namely Mobility, Broadband, MPLS-Leased Line, Direct-to-Home and Mobile Banking, leading a 700 member team and six strategic partners to serve over 15 Mn customers. The Hub delivered over US $1.2 Bn in Revenue, 40% EBITDA and had an appx. 40% Revenue Market share.

During the over 20 years stint in senior/top leadership roles, Sharlin gathered a wealth of experience in the  consumer, services, and enterprise business space. He built his leadership chops as well as expertise in core areas of consumer engagement, business strategy and innovation, creating a high-performance culture, running efficient operations and winning in the market.
