Before setting up his advisory venture, Anuj was a founding member, and head of strategy & development for the Indian business of an NYSE Listed REIT Alexandria Real Estate Equities Inc., USA. During his five (5) years with Alexandria, Anuj managed more than USD 250 Million in RE investments in India and developed around 1 Mn SF commercial RE projects across Hyderabad and Bangalore. Anuj was a part of the leadership team that developed Asia’s largest R&D / Science Park cluster at the Genome Valley, Hyderabad.
Before 2009, Anuj was instrumental in establishing the Real Estate advisory vertical for Ernst & Young India and managed a team of 75+ consulting professionals pan India. During his 9-year stint with E&Y, Anuj has worked closely with several global Real Estate PE firms such as the Citi Group, Morgan Stanley, JP Morgan, ICICI Ventures, Alexandria REIT, Barings PE, Westport Capital, Lehman Brothers, and D.E. Shaw, etc., on their investment and market advisory requirements.
Anuj has advised global multinationals such as Novartis AG, Pfizer Inc, Eisai Co., Ltd., Roche, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Albany Molecular Research Inc., Georgia Tech University, etc., on a variety of advisory engagements.
