Summary

On October 25, TiE Hyderabad organized its fourth Leadership series of 2018, which was curated exclusively for the TiE Charter Members.

Mr. C. Parthasarathy, Chairman & MD, Karvy group was in conversation with Mr. Sanjay Jesrani, Founder & CEO, Go North Ventures on the topic “Master Brain Behind Hyderabad Financial Services Industry, who created India’s largest Share Registry”.

Mr. Kali Prasad in his opening speech welcomed the delegates and set the context for the session.  Mr Jesrani in his introductory speech appraised the audience on Mr. Pathasarthy and Karvy group’s accomplishments. 

The event started with Mr. Parthasarathy sharing his inspiring and passionate journey with the members on how in 1982, a group of chartered accountants got together to form Karvy Consultants with a capital base of Rs 1,50,000 and registered their entity as a company in 1983, which initially offered auditing and taxation services to the diversified group that it is today servicing to over 300 corporates.

Mr. Parthasarathy emphasized on three aspects that brought him success – Diversification, innovation & Scaling up besides hard work and perseverance.

This was followed by the fire side chat where Mr. Jesrani interacted with Mr. Parthasarthy on his success story, innovative thinking and styles, challenges & opportunities and the future goals and aspirations.

The Q&A session became the highlight for all attendees as they got an opportunity to raise queries on Mr. Parthasarthy’s personal & professional life.

Mr. Kali Prasad thanked the speakers, audience and the TiE secretariat during the closing remarks.  

The participants networked over dinner.
