Smashup – 27 Feb, 2016

As part of our motive of fostering entrepreneurship, TiE Hyderabad had conducted an instant funding event – Smashup 2016 on 27 Feb 2016. The event was designed to get the innovative startups in front of the leading investors of city to pitch their business plans and win the funding worth Rs 20 Lakhs. 103 startups has applied for this competition and 11 got shortlisted to present during the event who was given proper mentoring before the event towards presentation and pitching. Around 17 investors including the big venture capital firms like Unitus and Indian Angels Network were represented by their members along with Hyderabad Angels, 50K ventures and Anthill Ventures.
With a great show 4 startups were chosen for being funded during the event and the process is undergoing towards the completion of the funding process.
